Physical Fitness

Move to Move: Daily strength & flexibility exercises help to maintain your current activity level. If you want to keep on moving, then, you need to keep on moving.

Push & Pull: Muscles are designed to ‘push & pull’. Include these motions in your exercise routine to provide a balance of muscle strength & growth.

Intentionally Unfit: Choosing not to include regular physical activities in one’s life contributes to becoming ‘intentionally unfit’. Decide on the fitness level you want to achieve and choose activities to get you there.

More Than Nothing: Doing any routine exercise is better than having no exercise routine. Start with short daily timed sessions and always check with a medical provider before starting any exercise routine.

Compared to You: Compare yourself to yourself when you want to improve or maintain your health. Today is always your base level & tomorrow is always your target level.

Not Knowing: ‘Not knowing’ is not an excuse for not doing. If something is not working, then consider it a knowledge deficit and not a failure. Search, read & talk to people about what knowledge is needed to improve your health & happiness.
